SHADES of BLUE – KaGa at Château de Monboucher
On 19 September 2026, Karin Galler will exhibit her works at Château de Monboucher in the Dordogne. Under the motto "SHADES of BLUE," the evening is dedicated to the colour blue for invited guests only.
Blue is the colour of vastness: the sky over the vineyards, the Dordogne's waters, the hour when day turns to night. On 19 September 2026, an exhibition evening at Château de Monboucher will focus entirely on this colour – and KaGa's works will be part of it.
The Motto: SHADES of BLUE
From deep ultramarine through cool cobalt to almost white ice blue: the exhibition gathers pieces exploring the full spectrum of a single hue. For Karin Galler, blue has long been a recurring theme. In her paintings, blue meets texture, movement and light – sometimes calm and flat, sometimes in dense, energetic layers. The selection for Monboucher showcases how one and the same colour can appear so differently depending on its context.
The Venue: a Château in the Dordogne
Château de Monboucher is located in Lamonzie-Saint-Martin near Bergerac, in the heart of the Dordogne – a region famed for its landscape, wine and way of life. This international estate embraces the "Art de Vivre" and opens its spaces to art, encounters and conversation. The historic architecture and tranquil surroundings provide a special setting for the artworks.
